The Berytus Groan EP is inspired by (and dedicated to) the city of Beirut in Lebanon. The four tracks are based on 4 samples recorded in the June 2012 in four different neighborhood of the Lebanese capital city on which different layer of both acoustic (violin, guitar, piano, percussions) and electronic sounds have been overlaid.
Prg/M (Program) is one of the moniker of Pier Giuseppe Mariconda, musician and multimedia artist from the Southern Italy, already known as Subion and part of the project r²π with Retina.it
Under the aka Subion he released the 12" "Eliogabalo" and other tracks on compilation or as remixes on Blackwater Label.
PRG/M is his darker and mental soul which express in dark ambient sounds, immersive pads and subdued and deconstructed rhythmics. The sound he produces under this moniker has been released in last years on various EP and compilations on labels such as Concrete Records (Rome - IT) and Blackwater Label (London - UK).
In 2017 he released the EP "Assioma Geometrico" on Spagiria, a new Eklero sublabel, with reworks of Ruhig, Hydrangea and kalos, the EP ìThe Library of Babelî a four tracks 12'', as 1/3 of r²π project, on Midgar records in addition to several partecipation on VVAA or as a remixer on many other platform. Over the 2018 he will release several new works both as Prg/M and with the r²π collective.
